The Ethics of Brain Chips: Advancing Technology or Crossing a Line?

Technological advancements by Elon Musk and others have introduced a new age for the world. With a chip implant, terminal patients can better experience the last stages of life happier with less pain. However, is this advancement ethical? Brain chip experimentation may give rise to more advanced technology. These advancements may be beneficial but raise many concerns. For example, many items are meant to break so that consumers with become repeat purchasers. If a chip implanted int he brain breaks, removing and fixing the chip could not only be costly, but life threatening. Can we trust technology made to change the way we think, behave, and experience the world from inside our own bodies?
