I consider TikTok the most powerful platform at this time. Not because its better than any other social media platform out there but because of how it affects everyone watching. Viewers expect certian messages and the algorithm is designed to show you things it knows you will like, hate, or are likely to interact with. Most videos are meant to entertain on TikTok an due to this, millions of people spend their time scrolling endlessly. They take in messages that constantly affect their emotions and ideas at a faster rate than any other platform. Even if you have a particularly high level of self control and awareness you will be influenced in some way, shape or form by what you watch.
